Typical elaboration & preparation methods
Fruits are typically washed and served as a snack after lunch. Fruits are mostly used in desserts such yogurt with fruit salad or a fruit flavored cake. Mango is a common fruit to be used with konafa and watermelon or grapes are sometimes served with cheese as part of the meal.  Also, they can be made mixed with water or milk to make juice or a milkshake. 
Fruits juices are being served in lots of streets all over Egypt. The most popular juices are asab (sugar cane juice), burtuqal (orange) and lemon juice.
