Typical elaboration & preparation methods:
Most desserts are prepared by adding nuts to it. The nuts are grinded or broken into smaller pieces and added to konafa, om ali or basbosa. Also, rice can sometimes be cooked with almonds, hazelnuts, raisins or pistachios along with cinnamon. Seeds such as hilba or fenugreek are used as a hot drink as it is considered to be healthy.
