Biodiversity & variety
The Egyptian Rice is from the type of Short and Medium round grain.  Most of the planted rice varieties are japonica and the most famous variety are Sakha “101, 102, 104” and Giza “177, 178”.

1)  ALeesh El Balady: It is produced with 82% extract flour according to the set standards, and sold at a government-set price. There are specific bakeries to sell and distribute this type of bread. 
2) ALeesh El Afrangy (white bread): It is produced with 72% extract flour. Bakeries provide this type as well. Working in a competitive market environment, after the government set a hands-off policy on that market.
3) Special bread: produced from the 72% extract flour. Bakeries that provide that type; work in a competitive market environment.
